Some people feel that Christmas has lost its true meaning in the deluge of holiday commercialism. Hence, I don't usually give out Christmas presents to spite this. But the super generosity and sensitivity of my friends this year has really shocked, surprised and awed me. There is so much love to receive and to give and I really should more outwardly express my gratitude for the people I have been so fortunate to have met. I need to cherish these people for the wonder that makes them unique. Christmas has given me this opportunity to realize the value of my friends. I will seek to ensure that I celebrate Christmas with more frequency throughout the coming year and to righteously reciprocate the amazing love they have graced unto me...

See you next year! I'm heading to Melbourne...

The month of December 2007

ht
I have so much to update! But, alas, in the hopes of saving a couple of bucks, we downgraded our internet to 256kps upload and have been at such a slow crawl, I am forced to hike 10 minutes over to uni to check email. Yes, the tough life I lead. (Come Jan 1, 2008, I'll be back on livable internet speed and pics of my mini-Sydney amazing race attempt, my Snowy Mountain/Canberra trip and my Sydney Opera House debut will get put up.)

<--- As if by cruel intention, Sydney is officially a 'hip' destination with the release of my beloved TimeOut on a weekly basis. Yay!

Also, has anyone else ever written to Santa? I'd missed out all these countless years, so I've decided to write him a letter this year. He works so hard to keep everyone happy. I am told he will write back. If you are interested, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Santa Claus North Pole 9999. What do you suspect he will write back in return? --->

Finally, before Christmas and New Year passes, I want to shout out a "Happy Christmas and merriness to the new year for all"!
